Between 200 - 400 individual images with different focal points and exposure levels were combined for each print using a method called focus and exposure stacking. Once combined, the finished product measures 15328 x 8337 pixels equalling a massive 128 megapixels.
This process allows the final images to be printed as a framed A1 print on the finest grade 310gsm Hahnemühle German Etched paper.
All images were captured on a Canon 450D and Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro lens, with the exception of the Nautilus shell, which was captured on a Canon 5D Mark II using the 100mm f/2.8 lens.
