About Ilya Zakharau
Writing about product management, business & system analysis, and API
Hey, I'm Ilya. I'm a PM who writes about building digital experience platforms and API-first products.
The deal: I spend 20-40 hours researching each article—trying tools, reading vendor docs nobody actually reads, and testing frameworks in real projects. Then I write about what actually worked (and what was marketing BS).
Why I'm here: Honestly? Writing helps me think. Publishing forces me to explain things clearly. And occasionally someone tells me "this saved me 10 hours"—which feels pretty good.
What you get if you support: The templates and spreadsheets I actually use. Decision frameworks. Case studies with real numbers. Monthly office hours where we figure out gnarly DX problems together.
No fluff. No "10 tips to transform your organization." Just practical stuff for people who need to ship.
Background: 10+ years in product. Started in support, ended up managing API platforms and AI features. Recently moved from Warsaw to Poznań. Still figuring out composable architecture. Definitely still figuring out AI evaluation.
Currently building RAG-powered search and pretending I know what I'm doing.
