I changed my life and moved from urban continental Hungary to rural Mediterranean Greece in 2013. The island of Crete where I expanded to live life more fully, embracing plant wisdom and engaging on a Path of supporting others transforming their lives. I love sharing inspiring real-life stories from the exciting blend of my passions as a holistic therapist, aromatic grower, forager, herbalist, medicine woman, aromatherapist and artisan distiller. Often profound and metaphoric, yet very hands-on and practical with new perspectives and a holistic approach to life to ignite change, personal empowerment and life transformation.

My longer pieces are collected on my blog Essential Reflections, and you can follow my regular posts on Facebook and Instagram. I am also a regular contributing writer at Aromatika Magazine. If that was not enough, you may get another glimpse of why on Earth I am busy with something exciting all the time, just check out my website!

My book Aromatic Journeys - Heal, Grow & Distill Yourself exploring Plant Alchemy was published in 2025 and now available worldwide.

If you you enjoy my aromatic essays, photographs, and other sharings on my website or other platforms, you are at the right place here where your contribution will further support my work. Just as you would buy me a coffee, a cup of tea or a nice book!

Thank you for your support!

With love & gratitude,

Ildiko
