Anyway, I have a question how to upgrade from "Homebridge Fibaro Hc3 1.1.14“ to the current "Homebridge Fibaro Home Center 2.0.0“ without loosing the complete configuration setup?
I run multiple child bridges in homebridge (about 350 devices) and these spread over 27 rooms /areas in home app with some automations and scenes.
I would really like to preserve this.
Is there any chance and a best practice guide for an upgrade?
I don't think that such a migration will work without loosing something. You can try the Controller for HomeKit that has a backup/restore for the while HomeKit configuration. Back it up. Backup also the Homebridge setup with the old plugin. Change to the new setup and in case of a disaster restore the old configuration on both HomeKit and Homebridge.You can try to use the above app also to fix small problems in case most of the setup works with the new plugin.
