Über Bobby's Boondoggles
This page is for projects that exist purely out of curiosity. They're built to explore ideas, test assumptions, and see what's possible... sometimes useful, sometimes strange, but always driven by a desire to understand how things work.
I've spent decades building software for web, desktop, embedded, tools, utilities, experiments, and things that don't fit neatly into today’s "ship fast, monetize later" playbook. Some of these projects solve real problems. Some are proofs of concept. Some are just me scratching an itch that wouldn’t leave me alone.
- They're not backed by a company.
- They're not fueled by venture capital.
- They're usually built late at night, powered by curiosity, stubbornness, and the belief that good ideas don't expire just because they aren’t trendy.
If you've found value in one of these tools, or you simply appreciate software built for the joy of building, buying me a coffee helps keep these boondoggles alive, documented, and shared instead of quietly abandoned on a hard drive.
No promises of roadmaps. No gated features. Just continued tinkering, learning, and releasing things into the world that probably shouldn't exist (but do anyway).
Thanks for supporting independent, curiosity-driven software.
