My apologies for not posting in a while. We had our Alaska cruise in late June to early July that I was recovering from and then our weekend getaway to the Dallas area for our 23rd wedding anniversary. We are actually getting ready to head back down for a Chicken N Pickle ambassador event but I figured I owed you all an update.
This past weekend we had the first ever USSP tournament at TapNPaddles in Wichita. Someone reached out to me on Facebook asking about when the next senior tournament would be.
Most tournaments actually attempt to have senior divisions. I think the biggest challenge is the number of entries. When there aren't enough teams signed up, age divisions start getting combined. Thus, for many tournaments that happen, there isn't really an age group separation.
If you are looking to play in a tournament that is strictly for seniors 50 and over. Here are a list of the ones I know about that are coming up:
