S’been a while since ickledot last posted. He missed the very start of the season due to a late summer holiday but he was back on the touchline yesterday for his campaign opener.
And what a game it was! Hosts Keighley, playing their second home game in a row, were quick off the mark, scoring several tries in the first half, before opponents Bridlington were able to mount any sort of recovery.
Generally speaking, that’s how it continued. Although Bridlington managed a couple of tries - one towards the end of the first half and another after the break, Keighley were rampant throughout, amassing a huge total of 75 points.
Obviously there’s a long season ahead and only a couple of games have been played. However, with two victories in two games, Keighley can be optimistic about the campaign to come. I bet you’d like to see more of ickledot’s pictures from this remarkable game!
