Über Darius
My name is Darius, I'm 25 years old and have been working in cybersecurity for some years now: I started as a pentester and cybersecurity specialist in a consulting firm, then moved on to red teaming, and today I'm a Technical Account Manager.
In the past, I've taught training courses on these very topics, and over time, I've seen firsthand a problem close to my heart: the cybersecurity training market is full of paid courses that promise a lot but teach little, sometimes even outright scams disguised as "career paths."
Bastion was created to be the opposite of all this. It's a free, open, ad-free, and tracker-free tool designed to teach phishing, scams, and social engineering techniques through practical exercises (drills) rather than theoretical slides. It's available in multiple languages to reach as many people as possible, not just those in the industry.
Development, maintenance, and translations take time, time I dedicate outside of work because I believe basic security should be a right, not a commodity to be sold at a high price. If Bastion has been useful to you and you want to support its growth, a coffee is welcome, but it's entirely optional: the project will remain free in any case.
