Let me explain the new AutoEq feature in Echo Music v1.4.1.
Every pair of headphones or earbuds sounds a little different. Some boost the bass too much, others sound thin or harsh in the highs. AutoEq is a public database that has measured a huge number of headphones and earbuds and published a correction profile for each one, so they sound closer to a balanced, neutral sound.
Now this is built right into Echo. Open the Advanced Equalizer, search for your headphone or earbud model, and pick a profile. Echo takes the correction curve and converts it into our 10-band equalizer, then turns the equalizer on automatically. You don't have to touch any sliders.
You can still adjust the bands yourself afterwards if you want to add more bass or change it to your taste. Just make sure to pick the exact model you own for the best result.
