Years ago I hurt both my wrists in an on-job-accident. This was classified as a traumatic injury. It got so bad that I had to have carpal tunnel surgery on both wrists. I made the unfortunate decision to have them both done at the same time, which was a huge mistake. This left me pretty much helpless for several weeks and I had to be fed at meals. This was not fun! My hobby entails a lot of typing...
