A proposito di The Hunters of Light
creating and curating content that motivates & inspires photographers
The Hunters of Light initiative was born out of the COVID-19 lockdown. The moment the Lockdown was announced, 95% of the photographers I know had all their work cancelled for the foreseeable future. Weddings, portraits, food, newborn – all photography was immediately cancelled.
I thought that there must be hundreds, if not thousands of photographers who were also feeling the emotional as well as the financial strain of the situation.
So I started a photography group where I could ask amazing photographers to do live presentations of their work, their process and provide hints and tips to other photographers. This would help to inspire, motivate and spark ideas so that we can come out of this not only surviving but with renewed passion and fire in our hearts.
To date we have over 100 hours of Creative showcase, Q&A and Masterclasses on our YouTube channel, a regularly updated website containing articles, discussion forums, product reviews, photography competitions to win great prizes and a store to purchase photographer contracts, model releases and Hunters of Light merchandise.
All this is absolutely free!
You can also become a paid member of the website and for R60 a month (±$4), you get access to all of the above plus tutorials and access to all the discussion forums.
Your support goes towards the costs of the hosting and various plugins we have put in place to run the website, competitions, discussion forums etc.
Your help allows us continue to create and curate content that educates, motivates and inspires photographers like you!
By doing this we grow the membership which means we can attract more sponsors and provide more great content, workshops, tutorials and giveaways for you.
My name is Quintin Mills and I am a Hunter of Light.
