Acerca de Tim Howard
Hey, I'm Tim — Air Force veteran, full-time teacher, and the one-man shop behind Rough Cut Recon 3D (and the wider Rough Cut family: trading cards, custom kicks, and woodworking).
Every design I sell starts as a test print. Sometimes three. Coasters get re-printed until the logo reads clean, card holders get snapped together and pulled apart until the fit is right, and golf accessories get beaten up on real carts before they ever get listed. That's the part nobody sees — and it's the part that eats filament.
That's what this page is for. A coffee here turns into:
- Filament for test prints — the failed versions that make the final one worth buying
- Prototype materials — new designs I'm working through before they hit the shop
- Printer wear and tear — nozzles, build plates, and the parts that keep a hard-working printer running
- Everything else behind the scenes — shipping supplies, packaging, and the tools that keep Rough Cut moving
No subscriptions, no paywalls — my designs and videos stay free to enjoy either way. This is just a way to help the next test print happen a little faster if you like what I'm building.
Thanks for being here. Every coffee genuinely gets printed into something.
