Lately Iâve been thinking a lot about how exhausting relationships can become when two people are operating from completely different internal values.
Just in the small everyday moments.
How people handle conflict.
How they communicate when emotions are high.
How they take accountability.
How they respond when something feels uncomfortable.
I donât think spiritual alignment is really about whether two people call themselves spiritual or not. Iâve seen people use all the same language, talk about healing, growth, consciousness, love, etc⌠and still move through relationships in completely different ways.
I think the deeper question is:
"what actually grounds someone when things get hard?"
Because when someone has a real sense of reverence â whether thatâs for God, integrity, love, community, growth, or simply treating people with care â it changes how they handle tension. Thereâs usually at least some pause before reacting. Some awareness that says âWait. I love this person. Let me not destroy this carelessly.â
And honestly, I think a lot of us know what it feels like to be in spaces where that grounding isnât shared. Communication starts feeling circular. Things stay unresolved. You leave conversations feeling more drained than connected.
I also think many of us have learned to make ourselves easier to deal with in order to maintain connection.
Less honest.
Less emotional.
Less direct about our needs.
Less complicated.
We perform being âeasygoingâ while slowly disconnecting from ourselves.
But Iâve been realizing thereâs a difference between peace and self-abandonment.
And maybe part of healing is learning how to let ourselves be more fully known instead of constantly editing ourselves to keep everyone comfortable.
Not in a forceful way.
Not in a âthis is who I am, deal with itâ kind of way.
Just in a more honest "this is also me" way.
That version of you that has depth, boundaries, needs, emotions, values, and complexity deserves to be handled with care too.
đ Taurus Moon Thoughts
This Taurus moon has been feeling very grounding but also very revealing emotionally.
Itâs bringing up themes around stability, comfort, money, exhaustion, values, and the ways we cling to whatâs familiar â even when itâs no longer fully aligned.
A few things that feel important right now:
đż Ground yourself physically before trying to overthink everything.
Eat nourishing food. Rest. Stretch. Go outside. Slow down a little.
đż Donât rush decisions just because emotions are loud.
Everything doesnât need to be solved immediately.
đż Pay attention to where comfort has turned into stagnation.
Thereâs a difference between feeling safe and feeling stuck.
đż Reconnect with beauty.
Music, flowers, cooking, decorating your space, dancing, creating something with your hands. Venusian things. They matter more than people realize.
đż Revisit your values.
Not your habits. Not your coping mechanisms. Your actual values.
What matters to you right now?
And does your life reflect that?
This moon feels like an invitation to stop running on autopilot and really check in with ourselves honestly.
I know it's been a minute, but since there will be no Embodiment Gathering this month, I thought I'd tap in with yall here. Let me know if anything landed or what came up for you or how you've been navigating this Taurus moon.
Alright boo,
