Achetez un café à HouseFresh

We are a small independent publication dedicated to testing and reviewing air purifiers. We buy every product we test with our own money, so we can be unbiased.

In February 2024, we exposed how big media publishers were taking over Google search results with bad product recommendations after multiple devastating Google algorithm updates that have decimated small and independent websites like HouseFresh. By May 2025, we had lost over 90% of our traffic from Google and that seriously impacted our ability to continue doing what we do.

We spent a huge chunk of 2024 raising awareness about what is happening to human web creators in Google Search. We also started spending most of our time on our YouTube channel, trying to build new avenues through which people like yourself can find our recommendations and air purifier reviews.

Whether you decide to buy us a coffee or get yourself a t-shirt, your support makes it possible for us to keep doing what we do — with or without Google.
