Demo Delights: From Big Names to New Kids
First up, a round of applause for the vendors this year. Whether it was Thomson Reuters flexing their muscles or newcomers like Robin.AI and Harvey showing off their stuff, the demos were actually... useful? I know, shocking, right? Gone are the days of vague promises and flashy UIs with no substance. We're in the era of "show, don't tell," and I'm here for it.
AI: Not Just a Buzzword Anymore
Let's talk AI. If you've been dismissing it as overhyped tech, it might be time for a rethink. The tools I saw weren't just glorified search engines – we're talking about AI that can actually help with complex legal reasoning and strategy. It's getting good, folks. Really good.
The Problem-Solving Buffet
