About KnowKi
Hi, I'm Garrett. I make KnowKi, a free iPhone app that helps you learn the wildlife around you. Pick a place, and KnowKi turns real photos from iNaturalist's community of naturalists into short, game-like lessons. You meet a few local species, practice until you know them, and follow a trail from the backyard regulars to the rare finds. You can also visit any of the 63 U.S. national parks or play the daily five-species challenge. There are no ads, no accounts and no tracking. Your coffee helps keep the lesson servers running so the app stays free for everyone. Thank you for helping more people notice what's living around them. 🌿
