As we celebrate the arrival of 2026, we wanted to take a moment to look back at an incredible year of growth and development for HexSheet. What started as a straightforward character sheet app has evolved into a comprehensive D&D 5e companion that supports both 2014 SRD and 2024 PHB rulesets.

July 2025: The Beginning (v1.0)
HexSheet launched with the essentials: full character sheet management, ability scores with auto-calculated modifiers, skill proficiencies, HP tracking, death saves, and saving throws. A clean foundation built for adventurers who wanted a reliable digital character sheet.
