Thank You, We Reached $6,100 ❤️

Sep 22, 2026

Today is September 22, and we have reached $6,100 of the $20,000 goal.

There are 8 days left in September, with $13,900 still to go.

This number means more to me than I can explain.

After six years on dialysis, the transplant I have been waiting for is finally becoming something real. My donor evaluation has started. The first kidney-function test was encouraging. There are still more tests ahead, and donor's gallbladder removel is scheduled to first week of October, which is the only hurdle.

But we are moving forward.

And today, before asking for anything else, I want to say thank you.

A very special thank-you to @islandcatpnw, @Yusimite777, Kathleen A. Vanstory, Nowellali, #Fuugata , Judith M. M. Buck Glenn, Donatella Dillon, The Everyday Shaman, and Susan Land , Brigid, Angie Van Oss, Barbara, alinphoenix_me, Susan Colleen Crawford, Jason, Lee Jones, @mindseyeofapoet, Susan, @michaelroseman5, @Wulalowe, Tina, Sue, Craig, and all of the anonymous supporters who have given quietly for helping make this possible.

Some of you have given large amounts. Some have given $5 or $10. Some have come back more than once.

I see all of it.

Every contribution has helped bring this goal closer.

And every message, every kind word, every person who shared my story has helped me keep going.

We have reached $6,100.

That means we have already crossed an important part of this mountain.

I still have $13,900 to go, and only 8 days remain in September.

I don't know what these next eight days will bring.

But I know what I want.

I want to finish this fundraiser.

I want to stop asking.

I want the next time I write to you to be about my transplant, my recovery, and the life waiting on the other side of six years of dialysis.

Thank you for getting me this far.

$6,100 raised. $13,900 remaining. 8 days left.

Let's keep going.
