My name is Lori L. Tharps and I am the creator, producer and host of the award-winning, Reed, Write and Create podcast. On the podcast, I give bite-sized pep talks to BIPoC writers who want to get their stories out of their heads and into the world. I also share the inspiring stories of our literary ancestors, and I bring bestselling, BIPoC authors on the show, to share their tips and tricks for literary success.
When I'm not hosting and producing the podcast, I stay busy writing and running the Reed, Write, & Create Sanctuary, a private community for BIPoC women writers who take their writing seriously. I consider myself a literary activist and a storytelling evangelist because I believe storytelling will save the world.
Thank you in advance for your support because the work I do is mission driven and much of it is unpaid labor. But it is my calling and my life's work. Every time someone "buys me a book," reminds me that there are other people in the world who believe in the work I'm doing and the power of the written word.
