Two Firsts, One Week: My First $1,700 Sale and My First Live

Two Firsts, One Week

Something happened this week that I have to write down, mostly so I remember it, but also because I think it might help someone sitting exactly where I was a few weeks ago.

My first Lifetime Pass spot sold. $1,700, the highest ticket item I've ever offered, and someone said yes.

Today we had our first call together.

I'd built it up in my head for days. What if she asks something I can't answer. What if the call is awkward. What if she regrets it the second we hang up.

None of that happened. She was kind, easy to talk to, and genuinely excited about what she's building. An hour in, it felt less like a sales call I was terrified of and more like a conversation with someone I already liked. It honestly felt like a dream.

The Part Nobody Tells You About Firsts

Here's what I didn't expect: the fear doesn't go away before the first time you do something. It just sits there, right up until you're actually in it, and then it quietly leaves the room.

That was true for the call. And it was true again four days earlier, on September 11, when I did my first ever live.

I'd been putting it off for a while. Not because I didn't have anything to say, but because "going live" sounded like something other people do, people who are comfortable on camera, comfortable thinking on their feet, comfortable with an audience watching in real time.

So I built it the way that actually works for me. Slides made with AI. A transcript made with AI. And me, just showing the behind-the-scenes of what I'm actually doing, no script memorized word for word, just talking through it.

"The fear doesn't leave before you start. It leaves once you're in it."

Before it started, I was nervous. Genuinely, sit-with-your-stomach-in-a-knot nervous. But once I was in it, it wasn't nearly as scary as I'd built it up to be. Turns out, as long as I've got my laptop and I'm home, I feel good. That's the whole formula. I don't need a studio, a team, or a script. I need my laptop and a closed door.

Two Firsts, One Week, Same Lesson

I keep coming back to the same thought: the version of this in my head was always worse than the version that actually happened.

The $1,700 sale I was scared to even offer turned into the easiest, warmest call I've had all year. The live I put off for weeks turned into something I'd genuinely do again tomorrow.

If you're sitting on something right now, a price point that feels too big to say out loud, a live you keep talking yourself out of, a call you're avoiding, I don't have a magic answer for the fear. It was there for me too, right up until it wasn't.

I can just tell you what happened when I stopped waiting for the fear to leave first.

If You've Been Curious About Working With Me

The Lifetime Pass that just found its first member is still open, for now. Only 2 founding spots are left.

And if you just want to see more of the behind-the-scenes, the live, the excitement, all of it, come find me on Skool. There's a lot more over there.
