So, you are probably wondering what this subscription service thing that our mods have been advertising recently is? We are going to answer some of the most commonly asked questions below - and if you have some that aren’t on this list, email me at: [email protected]
How much does it cost?
A subscription for yourself (Tier 1) costs $5 a month and the payments will recur every 30 days, per BuyMyACoffee’s billing schedule.
The bring-a-friend subscription (Tier 2) costs $10 a month and allows you to pick one friend to join you in the #subscribers chat.
If you want to pay more than that, for every $5 on top of that you can bring an extra friend. $15 lets you bring a total of two friends, $20 three, etc.
If you do not want to pick someone, please say so when you contact us - we can give it away in a raffle.
I’ve subscribed, how do I get access to the subscriber room?

Can I change my friend if I want to?
Yes! You can pick a new friend once every 30 days by emailing us at [email protected]
What do I get if I subscribe?
Right now, you get access to the subscriber-only posts on here along with the #subscribers room on Healthfulchat. We will also be putting schedules of subscriber events in the first week of every month.
More perks will be added in the future, as our way of saying thank you for supporting HealthfulChat!
This service is what you guys make of it - all of you have a say as to what happens on the BuyMeACoffee page, along with the subscriber-only rooms on HealthfulChat. We are always looking for new ideas for subscriber-only activities and subscriber-only things for the chat.
Can I still be banned?
Yes. If you break the rules of the network (or room specific rules), you will not be given any special treatment due to your support of the site. You can still be muted, kicked, or banned as determined by our moderators. Most bans (either room or site) last 48 hours.
You can also still be banned from #subscribers - the rules in there are the same as the rest of HealthfulChat and Depression Understood with the exception of it being a purely social room and that links to YouTube are allowed (email [email protected] with other websites you would like to post, so it can be added to our approved list).
Do I get a refund if I get banned?
No, per the Terms and Conditions on our BuyMeACoffee Page (https://www.buymeacoffee.com/HealthfulChat/our-subscription-service), you will not receive a refund. By subscribing, you are stating that you have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions listed on the BuyMeACoffee Page along with the Terms of Service of Healthful Chat.
What will be done with the money?
The money will be used to pay for all expenses associated with the site, such as the servers.
Are the mods going to be paid?
No. They will continue to be our amazing volunteers who help keep the site safe!
Is the whole site going to be a paid site?
No. The rest of the site as it is now will stay free. The subscription service offers extra paid perks for users who wish to help contribute to the upkeep of the site.
