There is wisdom available when we are willing to look at what has happened without becoming trapped within judgment. During an eclipse, that invitation feels especially potent. We can acknowledge what has brought us here while remaining open to another way forward.
Iq' brings the element of wind, breath, communication, and the power carried through our words. To have this New Moon and Solar Eclipse fall on 7 Iq' adds another dimension to Speak It, Live It. Our words carry energy. What we name matters. What we continue repeating matters. What we are finally willing to say matters.
On August 19, we enter the Toj trecena, bringing our attention toward reciprocity, restoration, and our relationship with giving and receiving. This carries us into the August 27 Lunar Eclipse in Pisces.
Where the Leo Solar Eclipse may open questions around identity and expression, the Pisces Lunar Eclipse can invite release. Pisces moves through the porous places, the places where boundaries soften and where memory, emotion, intuition, dreams, and the unseen can rise into awareness. Something that became visible at the beginning of this eclipse season may be ready to move differently by the Full Moon.
Then, on September 1, we enter the Iq' trecena. Wind returns as a larger thirteen-day cycle, carrying us toward the September 10 New Moon. What began with the Solar Eclipse on 7 Iq' now has an opportunity to deepen. The words we spoke at the beginning of this lunar cycle may sound different after we have traveled through it.
