Here's a list of potentially detrimental decisions someone might make when they have trouble discerning when enough is enough:

  1. Overworking: This can lead to burnout, chronic stress, and physical health problems. Ignoring signs of exhaustion and persisting with work can also damage relationships and mental wellbeing.

  2. Excessive Spending: Without a clear understanding of financial limits, one might indulge in impulsive buying, accumulating debt, or draining savings, leading to financial instability or crisis.

  3. Overeating or Under-eating: Ignoring physical cues of hunger and fullness can result in eating disorders, obesity, malnutrition, and other health complications.

  4. Excessive Exercise: While regular physical activity is healthy, overdoing it can lead to injuries, physical exhaustion, and even conditions like rhabdomyolysis.

  5. Ignoring Personal Boundaries: Always saying 'yes' to others' requests or over-committing can lead to exhaustion, resentment, and a lack of time for self-care or personal growth.

  6. Neglecting Personal Relationships: Over-focusing on work, hobbies, or personal interests can lead to neglecting relationships, causing tension or disconnect with loved ones.

  7. Overconsumption of Alcohol or Substances: Without recognizing limits, one might fall into substance abuse, leading to addiction, health problems, and strained personal and professional relationships.

  8. Ignoring Health Issues: Dismissing or delaying attention to health symptoms because of other preoccupations can lead to worsening conditions and long-term health problems.

  9. Compulsive Gambling: The inability to stop when losing or winning can lead to financial loss, relationship stress, and potential addiction.

  10. Over-Reliance on Technology: Excessive use of devices and screen time can lead to sleep disturbances, relationship stress, and decreased productivity.

  11. Ignoring Mental Health: Neglecting signs of stress, anxiety, or depression due to being excessively busy or distracted can lead to serious mental health issues over time.

These decisions, while they may seem insignificant at the moment, can have long-term detrimental effects on an individual's personal, professional, and physical well-being.
