Are you aware that your Cognitive Variable Orientation literally sets the tone for your entire Human Design? Everything from your centers, your borotype, your Strategy and Authority, your gates and channels, even your motivation is dependent on your Variable type. Just because it was developed late does not take away from the value of its revelation and was said to be just as important as the other essential elements of our designs. There are sixteen different orientations for the cognition of humanity. And no matter your type or profile, aligning with your cognitive Variable can be the ultimate testament to the viability of this knowledge.
I personally fell in love with the Variable orientation when I participated in an experiment that Ra Uru Hu set up on Facebook . He matched everybody who was participating by our Variables and we created private facebook groups that only people of like Variable joined. So we got to experience for the first time, consciously, what Variable resonance felt like and what our Variable looked, felt and sounded like from the other.
So I've been in this experiment for over 17 years now, and I became aware of my variable type in my third year, and I feel like it really helped me in the deconditioning process. Many things that my not-self led me into were behaviors and patterns that went against my variable.
For me, being a Right-oriented person, three out of four parts of my Variable, I'm really passionate about this department of this knowledge. I see how valuable it is for the children, especially being that my children have significant Rightness in their designs and so the Variable conditioning that we earlier generations had to experience is something Id like to prevent with my seeds. It's can be very subtle but it can shift the tone of their lives for years, if not their whole life. So to have a chance to honor that for them, the children, is extremely serendipitous.
So I put together an additional book to support and further the education of the Left orientation about the Right orientation. At the same time, educating the Right about themselves and differentiating them from the Left and potentially planting seeds for a more symbiotic future moving towards and beyond 2027. The Variable is linked to the Radical Transformation lectures that Ra Uru Hu did which entails brain function, physical environmental conditions, mental cognitive functions and activity level and type of perspective one has which are all extremely significant to how we live on a moment to moment basis. So on some level, instead of us spouting out Aura types and Profiles, it would benefit us greatly to include and elevate our attention and eyes on Variable types. It's even more differentiated than Profiles being that there are 16 as opposed to 12. All being important but all having different weights in the equation.
