About Frank Larrazaleta
Hi, I’m Frank.
I write about consciousness, psychology, perception, grief, discipline, self-repair, and the strange questions that sit underneath ordinary life.
A lot of my writing comes from trying to understand things I could not easily explain at first: anxiety, anger, dreams, love, death, addiction, reality, the body, the mind, and the way human beings build meaning out of chaos.
I’m not writing from a pedestal. I’m writing from the middle of it.
I’m a contractor, a builder, and someone who has spent a lot of life trying to put broken systems back together — houses, businesses, routines, relationships, and myself. Over time, that turned into something bigger: a personal project of observing life honestly and turning those observations into essays that other people might find useful, comforting, challenging, or at least worth sitting with.
My Substack, Haze Silver, is where I explore those ideas.
Sometimes the pieces are about science and consciousness. Sometimes they are about grief, memory, fear, or the body. Sometimes they are about the uncomfortable space between what we feel, what we believe, and what might actually be true.
If my writing has made you think differently, feel less alone, question something more deeply, or simply pause for a minute, you can support the work here.
Buying me a coffee helps me keep writing, researching, thinking, and sharing these pieces more consistently.
No pressure. No paywall guilt.
Just a simple way to support independent writing that tries to be honest, human, and useful.
