Hi I’m Harlo, I am 12 years old, I live in Ngaruawahia with my family, I am the middle child of 5 kids and super passionate about golf.

I’ve been playing 3-7 times a week since June 2024, I came first place in the first 3 tournaments I entered, in the 9 hole devision.

I am a “futures Waikato” member this is a club that helps youth get inspired and involved in golf within NZ.

My goal is to one day be a pro golfer representing Aotearoa New Zealand.
I want to keep playing everyday but my mum said I have to keep going to school until my handicap reaches “0”.

Another goal I set at new year, is to half my handicap by June 2025 from 50-24, today on 11/2/25 my handicap is 39.8.
To help me reach my goals I’d like to fundraise to buy an electric golf scooter, this will mean I can get all my schoolwork done and still make it around the golf course each day so that I can practice as often as I can.

Why did the golfer bring 2 pairs of pants?
