This is a first. I am writing my book from a fireworks stand tonight (or should I say this morning, as it is currently 4am). I have the night shift, running security for Happy fireworks, making sure no one steals the goods through the night. Check out my reel

Anyways, I am actually "editing" my book and not writing it, as I have sent my 25 chapters off to a copy editor. So what I am really doing through the wee hours of the morning, is the homework my editor sent me. 
Here's an excerpt I came across as I was doing my homework and I wanted to share it with you. This is still in rough draft format.
I sincerely hope I was able to explain in words what I’m thinking in my mind and feeling in my heart. I know ideas like this are unique. I know not many people talk about God this way. When something has never been heard before, we call it new. I love new things. Like new clothes, new tools or new cars. I really love new things when they have to do with God, and how He feels about us. Especially when it comes to God and how easy it is to relate to Him and hang out with Him. "New" does not mean wrong. As Bertrand Russel said “…every opinion now accepted was once eccentric.” The first part of that quote says “Do not fear to be eccentric in opinion…” so I won’t. I mean I didn’t. I just wanted to share with you the ideas that I have been processing for decades now. Ideas that have changed my life dramatically, for the better. Hopefully they will do the same for you because as Anna Quindlen said “Ideas are like pizza dough, made to be tossed around.” I say forget the salad and toss the pizza instead.
...because who wants tossed salad when you can have tossed pizza instead?!? Besides, isn't tossing pizza how the good pizza places make their wares? Anyway, if you would like to be a part of this chapter or book, buying me a coffee (or fireworks lol) while I edit would be a great way to invest in this project God has assigned me.
