I started this page during COVID as a small place to save local happy hours for my friends and me to enjoy. I’ve always loved creating, so I began designing the content myself, and somehow that little page grew into what Happy Hour OKC is today.

Since October 2022, I’ve published a This Weekend in OKC guide every single Thursday. Haven't missed a Thursday yet! Happy Hour OKC may look like a local media company, but it has always been entirely created and run by me. I personally research, organize, design, write, and publish every guide.

I grew up in Oklahoma City, and it has been incredibly special to watch the city grow and change over the years. Oklahoma often gets an unfair reputation, and one of my favorite parts of this account is showing people how much there is to experience here. My goal has always been simple: support local businesses and connect people with places, events, and experiences they’ll love.

I’m so grateful for the community and connections this page has given me. Everything on Happy Hour OKC will remain free for followers, but if the account has helped you discover something new and you’d like to support the time and work behind it, any contribution is sincerely appreciated and makes it possible for me to continue creating these guides for our city.
