  • Retire at 65

But look around — is that really working?

No.

The people getting wealthy today are doing something very different.

The Harsh Truth About Wealth Today

The old system was built for survival, not freedom.

Your parents and grandparents could climb the ladder because the ladder was stable.

But in today’s world?

  • Salaries don’t keep up with inflation.

  • Housing is out of reach.

  • Jobs get replaced by technology.

The brutal truth: the system is not designed to make you rich.

It’s designed to keep you comfortable enough not to rebel.

So, how do people actually get wealthy today?

Getting rich doesn’t only mean that you have millions of dollars in your bank account. Technically, yes, but there are many other aspects that you need to consider.

In today’s world, you need to be competitive because there is someone in somepart of the world grinding more than you.

You have always competed there.

You can actually become rich in your 20s if you are obsessed.

OBESSISION

It is the only path that can help you become rich. It might sound absurd, but it is the reality because if you are not obsessed with the stuff you are doing, you can’t make it.

You have to have a sheer amount of focus, balance, and Vision towards the stuff you're building.

Obsession is the key to becoming the kind of person you always want to be.

Remember, getting rich doesn’t only means having tons of money; when you are in the path of getting ric,h you actually become the kind of person you wnat to be.

It’s about becoming a worthy person.

Look up all the people who are very wealthy and have done significant things in their lives. In each of them, you will find that they were very obsessed with the task they were doing, whether it’s making videos from Mr. Beast to Tesla CEO Elon Musk.

They were in love; it’s beyond passion.

You need to have that kind of FOCUS.

Now, how can someone who is in there 20s become rich?

I. Set an Ideal Hourly Rate

Setting an hourly rate can be something very weird.

But, setting an hourly rate rewire your brain where you know your hourly rate, where you will start valuing time.

Now, when you are saying your hourly rate is 20 $ an hour, is that really 20 $ because you need to be true to yourself and understand, ask yourself?

Do I really deserve $ 20 an hour?

If it’s true, then you have to start acting like you do and start valuing your time like that as well.

You will realise whenever you are doing something stupid, you will find out that you lose your 20 $ and it’s not something we start to calculate.

You need to be very accountable for your actions because if you are not, then it is not going to help you.

You need to be true to yourself as well as Focused and dedicated.

It’s a reminder that the clock is ticking every moment, and you haven’t done something significant.

When you do the math, you will realise that you were losing money every moment.

For instance, if you watched TikTok for 2 hours a day for the next 3 months. It becomes a habit of doomscrolling.

90 * 2 = 180 hours

180 * 20 (let’s take your base hourly rate of 20 $ an hour ) = you are losing 3600 $ every 3 months

You are losing 1200 $ every month doomscrolling.

It’s not a Joke. Think about it, even if you had worked in a store or a cafe, you could have earned that money.

There is also a vital reason for setting an aspirational hour for yourselves. That is when you start treating yourself with 20 $ an hour, you will have a reason to act, and you will think and execute those ideas to make that money.

It’s a subconscious process where you will realise that you have a reason to act rather than doomscrolling.

II. Obsess Over Building Skills, Not Consuming

You consume. Most people do as well.

Yes, and thats a problem. Consuming is a problem because you are not creating.

The human mind has always been creative from the Stone Age till now the past, people back days used to create tools using stone and wood to hunt using their minds.

They create and evolve throughout history because they has the ability to build something significant.

image

I do consume as well but, i consume to make myself better or to get prespectives from someone who is better than me.

But, nowadays most people consume because they don’t have the ability to think that they can create something. Creating never means you have to build something huge or impactful.

It’s about starting something and initiating a spark that you have within yourself.

Your 20s are full of energy, and you can actually make this time the best time of your entire life.

You can simply start with ;

  • Writing your ideas and sharing perspectives online.

  • Building software, tools, or even documenting videos

  • Selling digital products and teaching other people what you have learned.

It was never a hard task to do these things. The thing I just sai,d all of these things are creating thing where it has you in it.

Your authentic self and your way of thinking.

Thats what it’s about, creating.

I am writing this newsletter, and this is about creating something using my experience, ideas, and ability to interpret things.

You can literally do anything except consuming from other people.

Consuming is the easiest task you can ever do.

Create Pressure That Forces Growth

When humans go through a series of pressure they are unknowingly unlocking their new potential.

You might remember the moment when you were under a vast amount of pressure, and the outcome was good at the end.

It can be seen in any life moments. I still remember when I was in high school and we played a football tournament where I scored a goal just because it was a high pressure environment.

Most people think the opposite, but I believe that's how our mind works.

When you are in a very high-pressure situation, then you need to act and you act and take decision in such a way that you will have incremental growth.

I believe that when you are in your 20s, you should be taking the biggest fuc*ing risk of your life.

You should be :

  • Grinding hard as you can.

  • Working out, Building business, Creating

  • Making Connections and not available

    image

You should be so busy that you start to pray for more time.

Stay away from comfort zone because if you are in a comfort zone, then you won’t be able to make enough progress.

The Netflix show, the partying, late nights, and many more things that you crave in those ae should be sacrificed initially to have a highly focused routine.

You need to learn to sacrifice things to gain something meaningful right there.

Create a high-stress environment yourself every day that you are making yourself so busy with scheduling tasks that you have to work on them every matter of time and have no time to think about other things that don’t comes into priority.

The whole idea of creating stress for yourself is to strengthen your self-esteem and unlock human potential.

You will realise the moment you put yourself under high pressure, you start to do things that you were not able to do before. That occasionally happens due to the self-doubt that your mind creates about yourself after being in the comfort zone for a long period of time. It’s a you vs you game where you have to challenge yourself to break your character that you had and have to come out of your comfort zone as well. Humans are meant to perform more than they think they can. They need to put themselves and test them and find out the reality.

Here are the takeaways :

  • Take the biggest risk becase you have time.

  • Do something beyond average

  • Put a lot of pressure on yourself and go through it.

IV. Accept That Wealth Is a Long Game

Building wealth is not about making millions of dollars in a year and retiring for life.

It’s about building a system where you can make money even if you are not working at the moment.

It’s about setting up the whole game for yourself for life.

Do you think billionaires like Elon Musk or Bezos become rich by working?

I mean, yes, they work, but they work on building a system and playing a long term game where they grind for a long period of time solveing a huge problem in the global market, and eventually, that same thing start rewaridng them . Even if elong doesn’t work, it really doesn’t matter, and the reason lies in the system that they have set up. Similarly, with content creators and digital creators, they make money while they sleep. It’s the power of having a sustainable system. I made 30 $ last night while I was in sleep. I woke up and saw that I made that money because I work to make that whole environment for a long time, which rewards me now.

Invest your time and skillset in building a system where itis not a goal but a whole ecosystem where people can access, and when they access you will benefit from it.

image

It can literally be :

  • Building digital products

  • Writing Posts, Newsletters, or Blog posts

  • Services or Templates

  • Ebooks or Arts

There are many ways to make it possible.

Play long-term game with long-term people, that's what Naval Ravikant said.

While you are in the journey of buildig wealth, you have to understand that you need to think long term because its not only about money its about having a while ecosystem while pump you money while you sleep.

When you are in your 20s, you will meet with differet kind of people with different mindset, but in the end, you have to realize that you have to choose to be with a group of people who was like minded and have the vision you carry that you holds as well.

“If you waste your 20s on comfort, you’ll pay for it in your 30s and 40s. But if you build with urgency now, freedom comes faster than you think.”

Lastly, I would like you to make your 20s the best year of life, and even to those who are above that that these aspects pretty much can be implemented for everyone else becase its very pratical.

It’s totally your choice whether you wnat to live a mediocre life or a life with the freedom that you wnat.

I will leave the choice up to you.

I'll leave it there for now and continue later, this is getting long.

Have a great day :)
