About Dr. Taha Hagar
Hi! My name is Dr. Taha Hagar and I am a Cardiothoracic Radiologist. Thank you for considering HAGRad Viewer (www.hagrad.org).
HAGRad [Heart Analysis Gateway in Radiology] was built from a simple idea: advanced radiological research tools should not be locked behind expensive proprietary ecosystems to a) facilitate and accelerate your high quality research, and b) to improve your experience between mentee and supervisor for your research, thesis or shadowing experience.
Over 1,000+ hours of development, refinement, debugging, testing, and real-world research workflows went into creating HAGRad — an open-source platform designed for DICOM visualization, image quality assessment, quantitative analysis, and experimental imaging workflows.
The goal is to empower researchers, physicians, engineers, students, and innovators with accessible tools that can be explored, modified, improved, and shared freely within the scientific community.
If HAGRad helps your work, inspires your research, saves you time, or supports your learning, and you would like to support the continued development of the platform and future open-source medical imaging tools, feel free to buy me a coffee.
Every contribution helps sustain further development, new features, documentation, educational content, and open scientific innovation.
Thank you for supporting independent open-source medical imaging research.
