Hey 👋 I am Hady from Auckland, New Zealand. I am the author of the Kindle plugin for Obsidian. A plugin that allows you to sync your Kindle highlights in a variety of ways.
I've been on a mission trying to create a second brain for myself in order to be a more effective content creator. Not having an easy way to import my Kindle highlights, my primary source of content consumption, became an immediate blocker.
Whilst there are several online services that attempt to provide this functionality, the clunkiness of integrating their solution in a workflow, and the fact that they require me to pay a subscription fee to access my own data, motivated me to set time aside and create a free and open source solution for everyone to benefit.

I love this plugin! I'm working through the process of building my second brain, and what has really drawn me to obsidian is learning I can easily integrate all my other notes sources. As a constant kindle reader and highlighter your plugin is perfect! Awesome bonus to see that you are a Kiwi too :)
