Hi, I'm the person behind Guess the News. 👋

I built it solo, as a side project, for one simple reason: I love a good daily puzzle, and I wanted one that made me stop and think about the real world for a minute. Every day there's a genuine news headline with one word blanked out — often a quietly interesting story that gets drowned out by the doom and gloom. Your job is to guess the missing word.

There are no ads and no venture capital here — just me, (several) cups of coffee, and a stubborn belief that the internet still has room for small, well-made things. If the game brightens your morning, a coffee helps me keep the headlines fresh, the puzzles sharp, and the whole thing free for everyone. ☕
