About Sandi Hansen
Writing a book about a rescue dog who became a star.
Once upon a time—not all that long ago—I spent my days wrangling dogs for stage plays, movie sets, and everyday folks who just wanted their furry companion to stop chewing the remote. I was a professional dog trainer, the kind who could get a border collie to hit its mark better than some human actors. And I loved it. But lately, I’ve swapped the leash for a keyboard. I’m writing a book now. Not just any book, but one about a single, extraordinary dog—a stage star, therapy dog, and even a movie actor—who didn’t just change my life, but touched the lives of countless others along the way. In the meantime, I’m still here—answering dog questions, tossing out tips like milkbones from a parade float, and trading wisdom for caffeine. Buy me a coffee, and I’ll do my best to help you and your pup get back in sync. Or at least stop the barking before midnight. So pull up a seat, pour something strong (coffee, tea, or the good stuff—I don’t judge), and let’s talk dogs, stories, and why we keep doing the things we do for love on four paws.
