I don't really drink coffee if the truth is to be told,
but a matcha latte is heaven for me - hot or cold.

When I wrote Wake Up Grateful, I knew that publishing a book would put a key into my hand, but I could not have known all the beautiful doors that it would open - doors to all manner of opportunities and amazing people. Doors to great questions and conversations, connection and transformation. Doors to extraordinary authors, readers, and seekers - a door to you! The book unlocked doors to new depths, for me for sure... and I treasure that it also did so for others.
Last year was a huge game-changer in my life. Leaving the leadership position I held for 10 years at A Network for Grateful Living ended up being a very different journey than I initially anticipated and it landed me in a more independent role than I imagined. This has allowed me to now focus on doing what I love most - working directly with individuals, organizations, and communities to bring the gifts of living gratefully alive. To help people have a sense of what waking up to this moment and not taking anything in life for granted might feel like and could make possible for them. To help them understand how we can live and love wholeheartedly, even when life breaks our hearts. How we might even be able to find needed healing in learning to honor and treasure our lives, especially during times when our hearts are broken.
The work I love to do most runs the gamut from being a podcast guest to supporting book groups to doing readings to offering workshops to continuing to write, and more. Because I believe so deeply in the power of this work, it is truly my mission to make myself - and the gifts of gratefulness - available wherever, however, and whenever a sincere invitation is extended. So, while this mission reflects my core value of service, it is rarely a source of income for me. Offering so much of what I love to do for free is not free for me to make happen.
This is where the "Buy me a coffee" tool comes in, and where you can come in too! Being a freelancer, it does not take much support to make a big difference for me. A little goes a long way. So, if you feel moved to treat me to a little burst of energy and encouragement, you can trust I will use it well. Your support is just what I need to keep on giving and going...
Thank you for being a blessing. Big-time.
