RP Halftone

This plug-in supports Mac and windows.

On Mac, permission must be granted in Privacy & Security settings during the first launch.

This tool is designed to create unique visual styles that differ from traditional halftone effects, at the cost of some performance.

(When used on an adjustment layer, adding **Motion Tile** to fix the buffer can produce cleaner results.)

Spacing

Controls the pixel sampling interval. Smaller values result in denser and more detailed output.

Shape

Selects the base shape of each dot.

Shape Transform

Applies transformations such as scale and rotation to the selected shape.

Dot Transform

Uses channel-based pixel analysis to drive each dot’s scale, rotation, opacity, and color.

Important Notes

Compatible and guaranteed to work properly with After Effects 2023 and later versions.

Installation

Windows: C:\adobe\Adobe After Effects\Support Files\Plug-ins\RePiece\

macOS: /Applications/Adobe After Effects/Plug-ins/

Spacing

Shape

Dot

Shape Transform

Dot Transform

After Effect 2023

Windows：C:\adobe\Adobe After Effects\Support Files\Plug-ins\RePiece\

macOS：/Applications/Adobe After Effects/Plug-ins/

Spacing

Shape

Shape Transform

Dot Transform

After Effects 2023

Windows：C:\adobe\Adobe After Effects\Support Files\Plug-ins\RePiece\
