Funkmaster Hutchy exploded onto the North of England's early Funk, Soul & Hip-Hop Electro scene in the very early 80's. An early proponent of Underground Dance Music, Hutchy's iconic club nights and his famed and flawless Deejay sets, set the scene for the NEXT generation of local Deejay/Producer talents like Unique 3 and Nightmares On Wax, up and coming youngsters out there in the crowd. A Master-Mixer before the term was so throw-away, Hutchy's turntable skills lead him directly into the beating heart of the Disco Mix Club and its brand new and exciting DMC mixing competition. Hutchy would change that competition forever by being the first EVER Deejay to scratch with props!
