How to read content behind the Paywall

Oct 24, 2020

If you are trying to read some premium content and its behind the paywall means it asks you to buy membership, this article may help you to skip that paywall.

The following method is very simple but doesn't guarantee to work on all sites. Feel free to try this.

In order to bypass the paywall, you have to install a simple chrome extension Privacy Badger . You can find it on chrome store here https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/privacy-badger/pkehgijcmpdhfbdbbnkijodmdjhbjlgp

Privacy Badger automatically learns to block invisible trackers.

Instead of keeping lists of what to block, Privacy Badger automatically discovers trackers based on their behavior. Privacy Badger sends the Global Privacy Control signal to opt you out of data sharing and selling, and the Do Not Track signal to tell companies not to track you. If trackers ignore your wishes, Privacy Badger will learn to block them. Besides automatic tracker blocking, Privacy Badger replaces potentially useful trackers (video players, comments widgets, etc.) with click-to-activate placeholders, and removes outgoing link click tracking on Facebook and Google, with more privacy protections on the way.

Install this extension and go to the page where you want to read the paywall content. It will show a popup for mambership. Now click this Privacy Badger icon on top bar and disable all links from any domain of “tinypass.com” like “cdn.tinypass.com”, “experience.tinypass.com” etc.

Before:

Links from timypass enabled by default.

After disabling links:

Disable links from tinypass.com

After disabling the links just reload the page and enjoy your article.
