About Praveen Chaparala
Praveen runs Good Old Ben on the web.
He has written in The Hill, a publication widely read by Washington, D.C. policymakers, People Newspapers, an affiliate of D Magazine in Dallas, Blavity, a Google Ventures funded organization, The Globe Post, & InsideSources.
He brought the idea for HB 1287 & assisted its passage in the 84th session with a bipartisan vote of 137/150 in the Texas House of Representatives & a unanimous vote in the Texas Senate which became a law in 2015.
He is a member of the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council - an opt-in research community of business professionals, and a member of the Harvard Business Review Discussion Group.
He graduated with Honors in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin, and is an alumnus of the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
