Acerca de Good Brain Day Josh
Running GoodBrainDay.com, a brain injury information & help website.
I'm Josh.
I used to be a professional science and wildlife documentary camera and drone operator, filming for the likes of BBC, Netflix, Disney, Apple, PBS, etc.
Five years ago whilst on a shoot in the Italian Alps I fell 300 feet in an accident that completely changed my life. The fall resulted in a long list of serious bodily injuries including multiple breaks to my neck, back, pelvis and a lot more, as well as multiple breaks to my skull and a brain bleed, leading to an 8 day coma and ultimately, long term traumatic brain injury (TBI).
I've been fortunate to have a lot of professional specialist help with my recovery, but to an almost equal measure, the general TBI community both in person and online has been instrumental, and I've wanted to try and give back to the TBI community who has helped me so much in getting me to where I am today.
That is why I set up Good Brain Day, in the hope that it can help answer questions for those who have landed in the world of brain injuries through themselves or a loved one, to offer potential sources of local support, and to try and share my own tips for what I've found that has helped me.
Good Brain Day is a free website and is there exclusively to provide help to those who need it, whilst asking for nothing in return.
After receiving a few queries, this BuyMeACoffee page is simply a way for people to say thank you if they would like to.
There is absolutely no obligation and I thank you regardless of whether you offer your support here, via a message, or if you are just a silent user, I thank you for being you, and I wish you all the best with your ongoing recovery.
