I’m Gordon, an independent writer and student from Asia. Behind these words is a young man from Asia who has recently lost his job and is trying to find work, save money, buy a computer, pay for English classes, and eventually go to the United States for college. I am currently taking online college courses through a U.S.-based program, and I hope that when I have saved enough money for tuition and living expenses, I will have the opportunity to transfer from online study to studying on campus in the United States. I am currently teaching myself English and learning about American law. Because my resources are limited, my English may not be very good, but I will not give up. Here, I write blogs and novels with stories and reflections about human nature, life, history, law, and politics. My path through education has not been traditional. Without a higher degree, I have spent years navigating the realities of everyday life—facing financial difficulties, temporary work, and periods of displacement. But instead of letting these struggles stop me, I have turned them into a powerful driving force.
