Gitmeow —— Keeping a light on for Chinese popular music

Gitmeow (結喵) is a free, public, non-profit archive of guitar chords for Chinese-language pop songs. We gather, organize, and preserve chord sheets of Mandarin and Cantonese popular music — from timeless classics to today's hits — and keep them freely available to anyone who wants to learn or play.

Why we exist

The melodies and chords of Chinese pop music are part of our shared memory. But so many of these sheets live in old forums, paper books, or long-dead websites, quietly fading away. We want to be a quiet caretaker: collecting what can be found into one clean, readable, permanent place — so that even 50 years from now, people can still find these songs and still play them.

We are not selling sheet music.

Everything here is free, ad-free, and open to read. Gitmeow doesn't make money from selling scores — our position is simple: music culture belongs to everyone, not locked behind a paywall.
