À propos Giovana Birck
I make vibrant abstract works, and mixed media experiments
I'm a Brazilian artist based in Vancouver, Canada. Working across painting and drawing, my practice explores how much can happen within simplicity.
Through form, colour systems, and self-imposed rules, I explore how complexity can emerge from simple visual elements. My experience of migration shapes an ongoing interest in how perception shifts with distance and place. This sensitivity to context also extends from my background in digital and spatial design, informing my attention to scale and how a work is experienced within its surrounding space.
By supporting me here, you’re helping my practice grow by funding materials, studio rent, and the freedom to keep exploring how art can expand our perception. Your contribution keeps these moments alive, and I’m grateful for every bit of encouragement along the way ✨
