Aho Dragons!
How’s the Dragon Dreams Soul Tribe Collective today?
Funny thing to share with you this morning…
So I’m out of vodka and reserving the vodka flora I have left for special occasions, in the meantime, I made another batch using vinegar!
So the recipe to make flora varies depending on what’s available.
Use vodka to keep it good "forever".
You can also use straight vinegar, but it won’t last as long.
You can also use only water, yet it will start going bad fairly quickly.
Some folks use water adding one part vinegar or one part vodka.
When I first started making flora a handful of years ago now, I used water and one part vinegar. Then I started using one part vodka. Now I use straight vodka and this morning was my first time using straight vinegar.
What do you do?
Ever make one?
So what’s funny is, to be honest and direct, when I tested the new vinegar flora, just for a second…I thought I was going to start doing backwards cartwheels and speaking in tongues bahahahahaha!!!! …for real…I had to self-coach in the moment reminding myself that there is no vodka or any alcohol or substances in here…yet somehow, this flora is the strongest batch I’ve ever made!
LOVE to know how you relate!
I made it on Wednesday, so it was with me during my graduation from Energy Medicine, getting in on all the blessings, candle light, and incense, and energy alike.
I used vinegar, apples, oranges, cat grass (Thank you, Rosie), and lavender essential oil.
I let it sit for two days stirring here and there.
This morning I let the wind and rain get in there, also allowed in the energy of the nature spirits to bless it, AND I used my bells to work with the blessings of the nature spirits, AND it was a nice unexpected surprise, that one of my bells fell into the flora, so I tied the bell to the little blue scarf.
The bell was total synchronicity!
That blue scarf has a history with me representing the goddess Bridgit.
I wanted to use the scarf again, but I wasn’t sure how to alchemize it, and tying the bell was the best touch-meant to be and a great example of power in simplicity!
Here’s a little video I made this morning...
If you watch it to the end, you'll notice I intentionally spritzed it towards the journal I’m working with, and in doing so, I accidentally spritzed out one of the candles…or was it an accident…it was the left side, representing the feminine and when it went out, it felt like someone winked at me…
So at the literal level of snake, yeah, my candle went out.
On the energetic level of eagle condor crossed with gatekeeper themes and working with the Morrigan in particular, in addition to all the other things I’ve been doing…it was a communication, a “wink”…perhaps a metaphoric “twinkle of a hello”…
Love to know your thoughts…I’m not going to over think it, it was special, and for what it’s worth, I spritz my flora like that daily and never spritzed out a candle, so more synchonicity-awesome!
Again, I’d LOVE to know how you relate!
Cheers to not doing backwards cartwheels or speaking in tongues,
G
