This fall, appreciate the true beauty in the greater beauty prayer we all belong to.
So many plastic-sparkly fall and halloween decor. I get it, some of us have allergies...
How about making compostable crafts from nature? A little bowl with some fall leaves and a few pinecones, make a lovely decor! I did this all the time as a teacher, even filling up a vase with rocks or sand- love it!
Nature is already fancy; less is more.
The life death life cycle is always at hand, yet seasonally, fall is all about dying and shedding themes.
As you being to winterize your yard, it's always wise to leave the last of the flowers and leaves for natural compost, moreover all that natural brush creates homes and food for the last of the insects.
We depend on pollinators and tillers of the earth.
TIP: Those with trees to trim, this winter, the trick is to walk around touching/bending all the branches and whatever needs to snap off, will.
I've been going through extra spirit flora and wasn't anticipating on making more. Mindfully I left flowers and took what I needed.
I really appreciated the visuals when making the spirit flora. It reminded me of what true beauty really is because the shapes and colours, but more importantly, the meaning behind the greater beauty prayer we all belong to. Even in times of scarcity, Hummingbird only drinks the finest nector.
The initial intention of this post, was to mention that the very making of the spirit flora provided me with a display that no plastic decoration could ever beat! My plastic funnel makes a better decoration when paired with this-right?! I almost didnt take pictures or make a video and glad I did.
Also, that song by Northern Pikes "She Ain't Pretty", in my head bahahaha...It's nice to have nice things. Hope we all can see past the paint and recognize the REAL PRETTY and quality in and around us.

How many days do you think my spirit flora will need to sit? I always image a week or two, yet 1-3 days seems to be where it's at,
