Gear used on "Wormhole":
Korg Volca FM
Korg Volca Drum
Korg Volca Keys
Recorded to multitrack audio via my Tascam USB Interface US-16X8, with a little delay added to Korg Volca FM and Korg Volca Keys Tracks.
This is my first song or rather, a musical attempt made entirely in a dawless environment. I'm a little late to the party when it comes to these tiny Korg devices, but I'm having a lot of fun testing them out and learning a little about their potential.
This is my first creative experience using just Volcas.
The eventual beginning of a monumental climb in the beautiful art of mastering these devices and connecting them directly to my deepest “creative self”, or rather, the prelude to my aesthetic uprooting and consequent fall into the deepest musical wormhole, losing once and for all my identity as a musician! These Volcas could potentially be my new best friends or they could be my worst nightmare! This song is about the dilemma.
To do this, I have to stay focused, eat that breakfast, go to the gym, and drink gallons of water to keep my cells healthy, because I'm sure, if it's shared, that these things are compatible with the algorithms and such. So...the whole idea is this: While I drink water and coffee and lift weights at the gym, I'm not making music... so I'm certainly procrastinating! It is complicated!
Thank you for your patience! If you could follow my work that would be great.
If you become a fan, that would be even better!
