Über Gretchen Staebler
I'm Gretchen Staebler. I write about navigating life's "third act" on Substack.
I am the author of Mother Lode: Confessions of a Reluctant Caregiver (published by She Writes Press and available wherever books are sold). Hiking Solo: Exploring a Life, One Trail at a Time, will be published in 2026.
"Buy me a coffee" is a secure way to help support the costs associated with my writing and web presence. And my 16-oz, extra hot latte habit.
