God is Shifting Things...

God is Shifting Things...

Mar 21, 2025

Hey Tribe,

Let me tell you something I’ve learned the hard way: God’s goodness is enough to shift you when you’re ready—but sometimes you don’t even know you’re ready.

At the beginning of this year, I went into fasting and consecration, praying for God to shift some things around me—people, circumstances, opportunities. I was waiting for doors to open, for things to magically realign. But you know what God did instead?

He shifted me.

It wasn’t immediate, and honestly, it wasn’t easy. God didn’t change the people or the situations—I was still facing the same challenges—but He changed how I saw myself. He reminded me who I am, and more importantly, whose I am.

One of the biggest shifts was in my confidence. For so long, trauma and setbacks had chipped away at me piece by piece until I barely recognized myself. I was functioning, but not thriving. Even when I tried to rebuild my confidence on my own, the foundation was shaky because I wasn’t inviting God into the process.

But when I let Him in—for real—He restored me. He reminded me that everything I’ve been praying for is on the other side of my confidence. I didn’t need to work harder or prove myself more; I needed to trust Him to strengthen the parts of me that had been broken.

“Who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” — Psalm 103:5

Whew. God’s goodness doesn’t just fix situations—sometimes it fixes you.

 What’s Blocking Your Shift?

Maybe you’ve been praying for a breakthrough, and it feels like nothing’s moving. But what if God isn’t changing the situation because He’s trying to shift you first? Ask yourself:

- Where is God restoring my strength instead of changing my circumstances?
- What inner work is He doing to prepare me for the next season?
- Am I resisting the shift because I’m focused on the wrong outcome?

Your Next Step

God’s goodness is always working—even when it feels like nothing is happening. This week, I want you to take action:

Reflect: Journal about one area where God might be shifting you internally instead of externally.
Pray: Ask God to show you where He’s strengthening you in preparation for the next season.
Share: Leave a comment and tell me—where is God shifting you? Let’s encourage each other as we grow through this.

Gang, perseverance isn’t always about pushing harder. Sometimes it’s about surrendering to the shift and trusting that God’s goodness is carrying you through. He’s not just fixing your situation—He’s fixing you.

With grace and confidence,
Gianina
