There is no Perfection Here-Enter the Light Poems

The imperfection of your life is the focus these days.

Gone are the days of this illusion.

Enter the age of authenticity.

This is the age of truth, the kind that cuts through the fog and exposes what was never real to begin with.

This is the age of rockin’ your bad self.

Do it!

No more hero worship. No more looking outside yourself for someone to emulate. This is about drawing inward and discovering who you really are.

You are your greatest asset, no matter how you come wrapped.

In this age, you must dig deep, discover your potential, and show it to us all.

It is a new design, a new blueprint.

Even the celebrities you once worshipped may find themselves longing for authenticity, wishing they could simply come as they are. But many have built elaborate foundations around an image they must now reside in.

And therein lies the problem.

I call it the proverbial rug pull.

The Universe is famous for that.

Just when you think you have everything figured out, along comes the cosmic rearrangement.

Let’s shift it all up!

For those of you who worked in corporate America, you remember how things would roll along quite nicely until some new twat CEO came on board, shuffled everyone around, laid people off, and proceeded to make a whole lot of shit decisions.

There you have it.

The rug pull.

Only this time, the Universe is doing the rearranging, and perhaps the whole point is to dismantle everything that was never authentic in the first place.

The masks, the titles, the carefully constructed identities, the need to impress, the endless pursuit of something that never existed.

Perfection.

What a ridiculous burden to carry.

In this age, do not mince your words.

Find your frequency.

Throw perfection out the window.

Be true to yourself, even if it isn’t sugar plums and treats for everyone.

Who really cares?

You did not come here to be everyone’s cup of tea.

You came here to be YOU.

And there is no perfection here.

Only truth.
