This blog was created during the Covid-19 pandemic, after being isolated inside my flat for months on end cut me off from spending time outdoors in nature. Once the restrictions lifted a little I wanted to make more of an effort to spend time outdoors.
Being 30 and already on a career path I love and enjoy, means I can't spend months on end going off on epics trips like my adventurous idols. Instead I'm limited to what I can do before of after work, on my occasional free weekend or using my annual leave.
So many other people are in the same situation as me. Constant 24/7 access to social media makes us all envious of the highlight reels of influencers jetting off all over the world without an apparent care in the world. I want to prove that it's possible to live an adventurous life despite a full time job and other commitments, and I hope in sharing these adventures with you, it encourages you to do the same!
