Apoya a Gavin Campbell

I'm Gavin!

I'm a home automation enthusiast, content creator (Youtube/@GavinAsAService), and co-host of the HomeTech.fm podcast. I spend my time building, testing, and breaking things (so you don't have to) — from Home Assistant automations and Zigbee/Z-Wave devices to Unraid servers, media workflows, and smart home hardware.

I love digging into the technical details and turning complex setups into clear, practical tutorials. Whether it's scripting custom integrations, optimizing dashboards, reviewing new gear, or designing 3D-printed solutions for my lab, I'm always experimenting and sharing what works.

If my videos, guides, scripts, or podcast content have helped you level up your smart home, a coffee goes directly toward:

• New hardware for testing and reviews
• Hosting costs and lab upgrades
• Time spent building open tutorials and tools
• Supporting independent smart-home content

Your support helps me keep creating honest, hands-on content for the community.

Thanks for being part of the journey.
